where did the '80s go?

we remember last summer dont we? from primark glow-in-the-dark neon legwarmers, to balmains fabulous glitzy shoulder pads,nearly everyone was channeling the '80s. well,i have news for you,retro is still in.

this spring, it seems the designers had gone back another decade-the '70s.

from louis vuittons gravity defeying afros, the *god i must shudder* double denim, celine and even chanels big wooden platforms,even to elles prediction of the 'sexy surfer' trend.

but none,none channled it more than new-yorks minimalistic alexander wang.

and dont worry,its not all that clich'e reworked classics thing all over again,and if it,its pretty damn good.

it was all tousled blonde plaits, grey marl sweater-type thigs-and leather shorts.Get your tracky bottoms out,but wear them rolled up with bashed up leather and zips. and socks,darlings you must have socks.everyone was wearing socks.
